Which ASID members classify as Emerging Professionals?
ASID uses the term emerging professional to describe a career stage. It is not a new membership category. In general, the emerging professional target audience includes any members who are in their first five years of practice. Largely, this includes former student members who have advanced to Allied membership, however professional and Industry Partner rep members can also affiliate as emerging professionals. Also, members are invited to self identify (opt in) as an emerging professional. Some members may not consider themselves in this career stage after three years of practice while others remain past the five-year mark.
